Rear Interior lights
These lights were fitted on the L&K spec Octavias but not the vRS
They're a VAG part that is also used on the Ford Galaxy and VW Sharan. Mine came from an Ebay supplier in the US. As you can see from the second photo the part number is 1H0 947 291
I didn't have the plugs to go into the connectors so I just soldered wires to the contacts
The dome light removed from the front of the car.
Connections soldered in place. They're connected to the centre light
Handle removed and new light in place
After a lot of mucking about with the headlining the wires were all in and out of sight
The dome light back in position
And they worked first time!
