Coil Pack Cable Conduit
The idea for this mod came from a member on VWVortexThe stock cabling to the 1.8t coilpacks held in place and covered with black insulating tape. Mine was starting to look a bit messy and I had been thinking about a way to tidy it up when I read about this mod.
It turns out that the Mk5 Golf 2.0t engine has similarly spaced coil packs to the 1.8t and on that car there is a nice cover. Part number is 06F 971 824 C and in NZ it cost $36 from the VAG dealer.
Old covers and tape removed
New ones fitted
